Default Airbox mod - now got emissions light

As above, while changing the offside headlight bulb I replaced the air filter and did the airbox mod. I made sure the only plug I took out (MAF sensor) was put back the correct way and everything else looked golden. Then when I started it up, the emissions light didnt extinguish along with the rest of the dash lights.

    It's an 07 120bhp 1.9cdti

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance
    Stuart

I done the mod on my 1.9 CDTI 150 and no lights came up on the first day. Then day 2 + 3 the orange spanner light came on. Took it easy on the fast pedal for these 2 days and the light went off by day 3. Think the ECU just needed to 'learn' the mod.

    Hope thats any help

Did you start the car with the MAF sensor off the air box or not connected properly?

Nope, made sure there was nothing out of place, as I was afraid something like this might happen.

Did you remove the MAF to take the top of the airbox off? I did this MOD and left the MAF on, just folded it over, with no problems, the only thing it can be is that the MAF is not connected right. Try taking the Battery connections off for 20 mins then replacing. Insure you have the radio codes if needed before doing it though.

I unplugged the MAF sensor and uncipped the hose to get the airbox out to change the bulb, made sure everything back in place or so I think!

I don't have the radio codes damn! gona see what it's like tomorrow. There's no detriment to performance and it's not gone into limp mode so im not overly concerned...yet...
    thanks guys
