This might sound a realy dumb question to people that already have it but I have a pre 2007 CD 70 and SAT NAVI with no AUX and the coversion with having to do soldering etc looks a bit tricky and so could go wrong...so I dont realy know what are the benifits you get from having AUX..is it worth doing the mod?

The benefit is the sound quality. Aux is much better than those FM transmitters/modulators. Especially for my need (i use external CarPC to play music.)
