    Default p/f 2.0 dti

    Me and my m8 are going to look at a 2.0 dti 2moz and just wanted to know what sort of things to look out for, any commen problems or signs of serious problems?

    Also what is the difference between the dti and cdti?

    The difference between a DTi and a CDTi is basically the engine itself the DTI has the Isuzu engine , where as cdti has an engine produced by fiat

    Mechanically the dti engine is fairly bullet proof the Dti has chain driven camshaft and recommended to be changed around 100,00 miles mark but should really be done well before this . Oil changes are recommended on a 6 monthly basis
    Common faults which occur with the Dti are EGR, vacuum hoses , boost hoses all of which are well documented here but are dependant on how the car has been used .
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it
