going to clean car tomorrow, my front tyres need replaceing soon but i was gonna put the rears on the front untill i get them changed, will i have to get them rebalanced? or will the be ok

depend on Wether the last time they were fitted on the rears
only one way to find out look at wheels see if theres any weights on them then swap them over and see if the wobble
If the fronts are down to 3mm, leave them there, let them wear out and replace
Normal practice on fitting new tyres is to fit these to the rear, and to swap the part-worn rears to the front
This gives you the maximum average tread, plus keeps the rears with at least 5mm of tread
It also helps to reduce tread-blocking of the rear tyres
Once you have fitted new tyres have the front wheel alignment checked
If the car has not had a full four wheel alignment done, then do this instead, thereafter only a front wheel alignment would be required
