    Default eggy smell from exhaust

I have recently noticed a foul smell from the exhaust smells like rotten eggs, someone siad this could relate to the cat.

I've had that in the past on new cars, but it usually stops after 2 to 3 k miles.

I think it is related to the cat bedding in, but never had it occur or re-occur on higher mileage.

I think also it can vary between fuels as some petrols have additives which can smell when they burn off ? I was told this a few years ago when I had the same problem with a car, I changed the brand of petrol and it stopped !

I smell it every now and again, as far as I was aware it was just the cat letting off some nice smell now and again as it works.

As said keep an eye on it (or a nose) if it continue's its worth getting the emmissions checked as if the car is running to 'rich' for some reason they will smell and can cause damage in the long run.
