Default is this clutch slip?? and chucking away

    Hopefully you guys can help,

I have a z20net veccy and its tuned stage 3. This was only recent but when im in 6th and put my foot down, when the turbo spins up the revs jump to about 4000rpm and the speed increases while it stays at 4000. Im guessing this is cluytch slip but has anyone else experienced this?

In addition ive seen on the forum of boost leaks because when I again accelerate swiftly in 3rd and sometimes 4th, it feels like a misfire?? I have ordered 2 new bypass valves today but if that doesn't solve the probs, what else could it be?

    Thanks chaps

Not sure on the second problem but the first really sounds like the clutch is slipping. With it being tuned to stage 3, time to fit an uprated one?

    Default

    I think so

Thing is - I have ordered a sachs clutch kit from Germany under the Saab B207L 2.0 turbo engine. I know this engine is identical, here's the link http://en.sachsperformance.com/sachs...900/index.html

Do you think this will do the job? I have just realised it says the transmission type is 5 speed but I thought the B207L/R engines only ever came with 6 speed, so now I have emailed them to find out if its compatible. Will this be an issue - I mean does the clutch size etc remain the same regardless of the number of gears?

    Thanks peeps
