    Default Quick caliper query please.

I've recently painted my calipers, but ended up spilling a bit of paint onto what I believe to be the back of the pad. The centre piece facing the alloy under the crescent shape of the caliper. I threw caution to the wind at the time and just painted the whole back part of it to cover up the blotch.
Question is, when my car goes in for a service, or just for general use really, will the paint on this location be a problem at all??
Any knowledge on this greatly appreciated.

Did you take the pad out and paint it or just paint it in situ? If you painted it in situ then there will be no problems as the contact areas are hidden and you can't get paint on them. Even if you did take the pad out and paint the back plate it wouldn't make much of a differenct as long as the slides are left free

No I didn't take the pad out. Was literally just a bit blew in the wind off the brush onto the front surface which is visible when looking through the alloys. The only potential problem I saw was painting over what appears to be the screw in the centre of the back part of the pad.
Ahh well, if they have any issues in the service im sure it won't be anything a bit of scraping off paint won't fix.
    Thanks for your help buddy.
