    Default Phone Upgrade Options

OK. Time for a new phone on my T-mobile contract. Currently using a Sony Ericsson X10 mini which is good but too small and too slow. The Mrs has a Samsung Galaxy S which is quick but massive!

Needs to be Android BTW, cannot go back to using old style phones now, not keen on Nokia's now - they seem to be 12 months behind everyone else and the iPhone is a BIG no no, hate them and the cost of them!

So, has anyone got any experience with the Motorola Defy? Is it quite a big phone? Quick?

Was thinking of the SE Vivaz but am hearing it is quite unreliable and still slow.

Any others, are the HTC's really as good as people say?

Been running a Desire for just over a year now and it is flippin brill.

To nick an Apple phrase, "It just works", coming form an Iphone it is so much 'more' only downside is the build quality isn't all that.

you could try a Dell Streak. i have one and i wouldn't go back to an other phone now!
it's big enough to get full web pages and be able to read them and also small enough to fit into your pocket.
i would say it worth checking one out.

If you can hang on a little while, the Galaxy S 2 is coming out. Dual core processor and a few other goodies should make it a sure fire winner. Google it.

Do you really want a new phone the only reason i ask is ...... i'm with t mobile got a nokia n95 8gb the phone does what i want it to and was on a £35 month contract
phoned them up to say i was leaving
they put me through to retentions
and i now pay £5.10 for the same contract but only 12 months ......the only draw back is you don't get a new phone
but you can upgrade to a regular contract at any time during that 12 month period
which i will probably do when the i phone 5 comes out in the summer
