    Default self fulfilling Prophecy

Had one of those surreal moments today.

I was walking up to the school for my daughter when out of the small side road from our place came a white 60 plate X1 2.0xd sport a lovely thing in it's own way but being driven waaayyy too fast, etc, etc call me an old git but I said to myself, he's heading for a shock him!

Picked up my daughter and walking home a Police Focus was tearing through the village and out the Glasgow Rd. right past us siren blaring.

    With me so far?

Tea time I nipped out to get a chippie, and outside the local recovery specialist on the back of a wagon the self same X1 with the n/s ront wheel and wing ripped well and truly off!!

I was not surprised nor laughing etc etc just resigned to the fact that there are rich prat's out there

Yes, I had a case of Deja Vu tonight, coming off a roundabout in the left lane towards the A5 from Telford Priorslee, a woman in a bright orange car (Focus?) had been chasing my tail, in middle lane of roundabout, just thought "she's going to try to cut me off for the turn" Kept up with car in front, no surprise to find her along side me with nowhere to go.
They walk among us, vote abd drive, all without any brains or common sense - yet my insurance quote from the AA was £2000 lump or £158 monthly, up from £350 ish and £32 pcm. Go figure.
