    Question luk or Sach

    120 signum deisel
Is their any reason for not mixing Sach dmf with Luk clutch
Is the sach dmf better made than a Luk
Do sach make a standard clutch or are they all sport upgrades
How much are the Sach parts and where do you get them

How long should it take a garage to carry out a dmf and clutch change and whats the hourly rates for garages
    Cheers

you dont want much do you ?? lol , as above on hours labour , we charge £35 an hour but that is well cheap compared to alot of garages ! going to be alot dearer down where you are i'd wager ? personally i dont think it matters which part you fit , they will last aslong as it does ! so many variables involved which effect longevity

    IMO...

How long they last depends on driving style etc...
Starting the car without holding the clutch down & riding the clutch are known to cause premature wear.
My motor is now on 125k still on the original dmf & clutch, it's knocking but only on cold for the first 5 mins... i put that down to my wife

as far as i've been told- some vecs had a sachs clutch and a luk dmf from the factory and some just had all luk or all sachs, so garages tend to replace like for like. also allegedly sachs do a lot of refurbed bits and are rarely ever brand new.....so best stick to luk me thinks.....

speak to universal clutch in luton- the are good and will have all the answers. khalid is the boss.
