    Default Clutch Biting Point

    Morning all,

Can the bite point be adjusted on the Vectra? It seems lately my gears are stiffer to engage, putting the clutch hard against the floor does makes it better.

If these are adjustable I'm thinking first off moving the bite point slightly up the pedal travel. I'm hoping it's not the start of a bigger problem. Thanks for any help,

    Si

Is that all the time or not? Mine was a bit clunky first thing until I changed the gearbox fluid.

All the time - especially yesterday when it grinded into reverse after an hours drive to work.

I think (sounds dumb) my foot isn't pushing it the last inch to the floor, which is when it grinded, maybe my leg has shortened in the last week?!! But when I do go to the floor it's still stiffer than it used to be (clutch, not my leg...or anything else lol).
