    Default Angel Tuning Vectra CDTI

Hi all, anyone got any positive feedback from these guys' remaps? Price is solid and they claim to offer 185-190bhp and 300 lbs/ft. Anyone knows how it would compare to an established vauxhall specialist like bsr/courtenay/eds? cheers.

I fail to understand everyone's infatuation with Rolling Roads after a remap.a RR may tell you how much power your car has, but is it a true figure?

Personally I prefer how the car drives after a remap to before it.

That is true but if your after power etc you want to know how much your getting and if you cone away with 165bhp and paid 400 quid I would seriously be peed off so it's proof that the power they claimed for that price is true and your gettin what you paid for

And 185-195 and 280-300 is a reasonable expectation alot of ppl claim more but until rolling road then there is no proof I thought my car was running 220bhp and like 420nm but I was wrong lol but it felt like it that's my opinion though

I have been in a car that was mapped by a company off ebay that felt a bit quicker but infact had lost power.

It felt quicker because the power kicked in harder (Boost spiked) but didnt hold the power as long as the standard map.

I would always want a before and after rolling road so you can see the torque curve.

RR results can be made to be anything you want though.
I do see where you are coming from though.

Not all maps are big boost though! Diesels especially shouldnt have much more boost when remapped.

i agree a rr is the only real way of finding out what figures you're getting. I just asked as I know angel tuning do a mobile service, so its far more convenient than driving up to cheshire for example (as im in london).
