hmmmmmmmm grey area i think, depends who is going to test your car

if you are waiting around, you could always buy a set of replacement bulbs, and if there are problems just say you will fit them later, then take them back after you get your certificate

As long as they're not too blue they should be fine. But as said have a set of standard bulbs ready so you can swap them over and get a partial retest done straight away.

im thinking of 50w 4300's next but looking at the lenses in my vec, id say they need cleaning as i had the same problem on an other car.

Dont ask me where on here, but some one did finely sand the outer lense with some cleaning compoud.

The results looked fantastic. Need to do a search. It was about 4 months ago i reckon.

the outer plastic is fine, its the inner dome lens thats cloudy and im my experience, it just wants a wash but its getting to it lol

Think all the inner dome lenses look cloudy to be honest. Thats why they give poor light output.

    Thats why we use hids.
