ccrt 2008 problem

in the process of fitting a ccrt 2008 to the sig

have connected all the blue plugs in back of stereo , removed old screen
plugged in screen that came with the ccrt 2008 ......... nothing
no sound or radio station on the screen and the computer on the end of the stalk doesnt show up

fitted old screen back onto lead and the sound came out and the computer worked but still no radio details ( i.e station )

the old screen has xr on the back , the new screen has er on the back and came from the same vehicle as the radio

any ideas ??????

Im near 100% sure Wiring won't be the same mate the crt2008 was mainly an option in Europe not many siggys or vectras had them in uk

What radio did you have and screen ?

had a ccr 2006 and screen with xr on it

Different wiring mate you will have to rewire a few wire's

Is there a reason why you wanted the CCRT ? its not the best radio around and it would be easier for you to change to NCDC with telematic if you wanted built in phone

werent really bothered which head unit , just after the problems i had with the xtrons just wanted to go back to oem radio so it looks normal

whats the ncdc?

NCDC2013/15 are sat nav units you can get these with colour screens and telematic phone units ( Quite rare in uk) there's a how2 for this

nice , think ill just refit the 2006 , have repaired the front of it

just need to get rid of the ccrt 2008 now , the bay i think

Stick on ebay or maybe ask over on the omega sites as im sure some of them came with the CCRT2008
