    Default bolt snapped

hi guys what is the easyiest way to remove a bolt with no head???

story goes:~ i was replacing the flexy joint on my down pipes and on both manifolds i managed to snap a bolt at the bottom on each one whilst trying to remove the down pipes! what would be the easiest way of removing the bolts with out neccesarily having to got to a garage to get this done???

its kinda a akward spot to get a drill bit into but will if necessary ifthis is my only option

    cheers

    Default

Best way if the head is completely snapped off then the only real way is to drill I to the shaft o the bolt and use an extractor I have a set of snap on extractors with are reverse flute so knock that in then turn with a spanner it grips in the hole and extracts the bolt

Other option is to drill it through completely and then re tap a new thread in to it

Or if you can get onto the other side of the bolt with the threads then either try some mole grips or I would try with 2 nuts screwed on end try to untwist that way or spot weld another bolt to it and use that but I have all the tools unlike most ppl so 1st 2 options would be the best mate
