Default Does cambelt and water pump have to be done with inlet manifold

I feel a proper tit asking this but here goes.....I had my inlet manifold and actuator replaced last year at a VX dealers. When this gets done is the cambelt and water pump done along with it as a matter of course?? Or are they totally seperate?? Just read a thread on here about manifolds and people were talking about cambelts etc...I've just bought cambelt and water pump today to get fitted next week and is there a chance they have already been replaced???

the receipt is in a folder in the wardrobe in the kids room and don't really want to wake them and incurr the wrath of mrs marky!! Will have to wait til morning to check. The work cost me around £700 but I really dont think there was any mention of cambelts. Just wanted to know if they changed them routinely with the manifold?

Dont know if I have misled?

I had my cambelt done ans waterpump at the same time along with my inlet manifold as the cambelt area was making a noise on cold starts at 88k miles. Some roller/waterpump or other. This did keep some labour costs down. Actuator, Inlet manifold, gasket Cambelt kit, and waterpump all under a grand.

I decided this myself that as they had it all off around the engine to do mine.

Anyone on here know if the cambelt is removed when doing the inlet manifold as routine?

You can bolt the diesel pump pulley to the block and remove the pump so NO it doesn't have to be done when doing an inlet manifold.

For £700 I very much doubt it was changed at the same time.
