Question Using op-com to get rid of bulb fault warning on 03 Vectra?

A workmate has an error on his Vectra. It's showing on his dash that he has a bulb out, yet he replaced the bulb 4 months ago but this warning light wont ****** off even though no other bulbs are out. I think he said Vaux will charge about £70 for the pleasure.

Q1: Can this be rectified with op-com?

Q2: If the answer to the above is yes, then how do you work your way around the op-com program to do this?

    Cheers.

Is your mate aware that if a tail light bulb fails then there is another to do the job, and also if the brake light fails then one of the tail lights bulbs does its job, so from the rear looking at it you could easily get mistaken that there is no fault. Try cleaning all connections and actually take the bulb holders out of the lenses and re check they ALL work.

Thanks i'll pass on the information. I don't know whether he's aware or not.

Any idea how to cure it using op-com though, assuming everything is A-ok?

    For Op-Com information..
You should contact Ilexa as they provide free life-time support to legitimate op-com owners..

If you have any other Op-Com device, then this cannot be discussed on this forum.
