    Default MOT time looming

Hoping to get the dreaded MOT done next weekend so i can decide whether the car stays or gets sold.

Problems i know of and need to fix at the moment are:-
    - suspension bushes nd droplinks (got the parts)
    - have been losing a bit of coolnt but cant trace and it isnt into the oil so have tried some radweld stuff today to see if that helps but car still seems to sit a little warm for me.
    - air con needs regassed
    - exhaust sounding like its had better days blowing a bit
    - need to get new discs and pads i think
    - slight oil leak
    - alloys in need of re furb
    - first sign of rust on the bonnet
    - auto box needs an oil change/service

May need more bits especially suspension wise but waiting the test so i can find out for sure. Also finding the car is sounding bit rough on idle though revving ok and having done 97k i think i may opt to get the timing chain changed if i keep her. Probably by benny the guy 2.2 se expert unless i can find somewhere up here in scotland to do it.

Just bracing myself for a nice big expense with a lot of the parts like exhausts being original. Then deciscion time after that do i pay to fix then keep or sell and replace. The joys of motoring i guess but roll on next weekend.

I'm not sure actually you may have a point theres a definate bubble appearing just below the grille. Must have a closer look tomorrow

Will know its fate by friday night at least but SWMBO was chatting and said, whatever your car fails on you should fix, theres cash in the savings.

Wonder if i'd get away with 'honest love it failed on an xp kit set of bilsteins and 19" snowflakes

So did I. I know it is some form of alloy as a magnet will not stick to the bonnet.

Graeme. I would not be supprised if you SWMBO has her eye on some of "your"savings. I bet she has an ""idea"". On buying something ?
I saw a very expencive lens in Jessops. I said to Larisa I would like one of those... she replied Three piece Suite first. They are not daft.
It made the lens VERY expencive one lens plus the Suite. But we both got what we wanted.

Lol i fear the only circullar shaped item my beloved is after is not alloys but a shiney item for her finger! I dont know you would think signing up to a 30 year mortgage would be enough commitment lol
