    Default Engine Bay

    After spending 30 minutes under the bonnet, here is my clean engine! im pretty impressed with my self!

    Notice one of my HID ballasts under my airbox

    You're going to laugh at me here, but I only used a damp microfibre cloth and touched up the black bits with "Back to Black"

    Nice job. I did mine with soap and water and WD40 for the black bits, works very well.

    Also took my airbox apart so I could clean the lid properly, plus lifted battery box cover to get to fuse cover on the right hand side, deffinately going to keep on top of my engine bay in future, may help the re-sale value aswell!

    Mines well dirty now, was thinking of risking jet washingbitbwith the engine running then a quick wipe over after. Do you think this would be ok or too risky ?

    I'd personally use a bit of washing up liquid with water and cloth and scrub all the bits you can get to, only takes about 10 minutes once you get ontop of it and do it regularly, be sure to do the slam panel aswell and underside of bonnet, looks awesome and when I showed my mates they said it looks like new!

    rubber and vynil care products work great on the plastic and pipes ;-) or black to black / wd40

    Little bit of metal polish on the air-con pipes makes a hugh difference


    Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !

    i jet wash mine prob once a month on average, the components are water proof!
