    Default New fault code found

    Found the following fault code using op com B0082-3A SOD CSD Configuration Fault (Seat Occupied Detection)(Child Seat Deteted)
    anybody got any idea what this means? At the moment the airbag warning light it lit up. Any advise appreciated.

    theres a sensor in the front passenger seat that detects a child seat, and automatically deactivates the passenger airbag when it senses it, take it you have no child seat so it will be a sensor fault

    Have a look under the seat, there should be a multi plug, I'd start by checking that's plugged in properly. To be one the safe side disconnect the battery and don't tough anything for 10 mins before you start messing with the plug, its good practice if your messing with any airbag electrics.

    No child seat fitted. Thought that the child seat detection was optional extra. Is it possible that the leather seats I've just fitted has the sensor in for that and that's why it's playing up?

    Sorted, used a post on here. Disconnecting the pressure sensor in the seat from the seat harness all happy now
