    Default Wynns EGR Cleaner

Anyone used it with success? Guessing it is a similar product to the 10k Boost.

Bought a tin yesterday but don't have long enough arms or legs to reach the inlet and the accelerator at the same time, will idle speed be OK?

Yep,2 cans. One as recommended, the other, straight into the throttle body housing.Just as a passing mention, when I took the big turbo pipe off the throttle body,it was pretty clean inside,so I presume that the first can did what it said on the tin!!!. FELIXX.

By the way,I got the wife to hold the revs steady for me,as,when I tried doing it on tick over there was diesel knock,so beware etc, etc. FELIXX.

Turbo pipe? I thought it would go in just after the AFM?

What I did was detach the bottom end of the the big rubber pipe that comes down from the throttle body and sprayed the can in there,(after the turbo),and the second time I detached the pipe where it is connected to the throttle body and sprayed it in there. The effect is the same,it's just that all the can is going into the throttle body/inlet manifold.I did it this way because it is recycled back through the EGR eventually, and anyway,I think the inlet manifold is of prime importance. No. Felix did it correct. Its for cleaning the Throttle Body, EGR and Inlet only. It should not be put into the turbo or the intercooler.

I used a couple of bricks carefully balanced on the throttle. You need to hold the revs at 2k. Then spray it in shorts bursts, otherwise the revs really drop.
