    Default Estate exhaust suggestions.

I've never owned a car without visible exhausts before. Any suggestions for what would look tidy on my cdti estate?

Not keen at all on the trapezoidal VXR affairs I'm afraid.

    lol. Stop calling me Roy!

I am coming round to the bus. Just annoyed me that it needed an alternator virtually as soon as I got it. Then I had an annoying knock on the suspension that was driving me bonkers. Got that sorted now (drop links)! and tbh it drives lovely now.

It is actually a stunning looking car in the Ultra blue with the privacy glass and the silver roof rails. Lowered with some nice rims and a visible exhaust and I'd be close to happy with it!

Really not keen on the VXR pipes tbh, they look so contrived with their daft shape......at least there isn't two tiny pea shooters inside each exit like some modern exhausts!

Pmsl, sorry mate,i had to keep going until you mentioned it
Yes it is a pain when things go wrong straight away Andy, but that could happen with any car, imagine it was a 4.2 audi alternator that went pop
It looks nice now, like you say, lowered a bit and a nice set of wheels and it will look even better, and you will like it even more
I'm not sure what pipes will look good,i had vxr pipes on the estate in my mind

The backboxes will sit too far in, as the estate has a longer rear overhang.

Mine are an acquired taste I think, not everyone likes quads, personally I love 'em, but some don't.

Here ya go though, this is them on.
