    Default Overboost Saftey?

Hi, was racing my mates vxr astra the other night and suddenly i lost all boost. The turbo was still spooling but no boost there at all. I pulled over, looked round for a split boost hose but nothing. Started it back up and it was fine. Is there some sort of saftey feature that cuts off the boost if it overboosts and can it be removed? Cheers

The actuator can get stuck on the exhaust clamp sometimes.

Let me know how you get on with this, as it's happened to me a couple times. Turning it off then on again works each time, but I'm puzzled by the problem. Would a full service perhaps pick up this issue?
