Hi All,
Hope its ok to post this here, if could someone put it in the correct section.

Been asked by a member on vvoc if anyone on here would be interested in going to this, there is a chance that Total Vauxhall maybe coming to cover it for a magazine feature.

Couldn't go if i wanted to,was told the other day that my automatic can't go on the rolling road

hmmm my automatic can ...then I guess thats cos ive got a manual option .

I will be interested to see if TV go,as they told us when we invited them to ours that they wern't doing any R/Rs

I was told at celtic tuning that it can't go on because the way they need to choose neutral to get the power graph,and it will just mash the auto box

So i didn't argue

Would be nice to know what the remap has done to bhp/torque though.

hmmmm never heard that one before ....if it hasn't got the manual option for selecting gear .the operator sometimes struggle to do autos because of the kick down of gears.when booting it .

I don't know,i didn't push as i didn't need the r/r,i am curious to what my car is running,but i'm not willing to take a gamble with the box just to get numbers,the proof is in the drivability

I had no problems when i had my auto r/r'd when i had my custom remap done mate. Never heard that one before

I was told by the bloke behind the counter that they need to put the car in 4th gear(i think he didn't know mines a 6 speed) and then in neutral to get the true figures,and doing this on an auto will mash the gearbox

I didn't know any better and wasn't and couldn't argue it with them either.
That could be because they were messing around in the arch losing the pins from the plastic rivet clips,and i had said they can or i will remove the bumper to get the ecu out,as i'd already removed most fixings on the bumper,as i didn't want them to lose the pins from the plastic rivets in the arch liner

But was told to go and wait in the waiting room

Sounds like a poor operator. Its harder to do an auto as said due to the kick down. But as the boxes are selectable they can be done.

They choose 4th as its notmally a 1:1 ratio so it makes the calculation easier.
