Exhaust.braided flex joint section.bracket broken.help.

On my 2.2 elite the flex joint section of exhaust below the CAT has a broken attaching bracket.Do i go for a VX replacement?
I would shortly like to go for the SRI exhaust look with visable single pipes either side.Is this flex joint section the same,because i would hate to have to replace it should i do the mod?

I had the same thing with my exhaust on a 2.0T , I had some new clamps knocked up at a local exhaust place yesterday and now as good as new for a few quid ( see my post on this page ). Not sure about the SRI exhaust fitting but if you are thinking of changing it you was may as well get the repair done and go from there.
