Default Recommend a lance and foam please?

Do they work off a garden hose? Is the foam "wax friendly"?

You get ones that do work off the garden hose, Gilmour Foam master Foam Gun, but they are no where near as good as foam guns that fit to a pressure washer.

If you get PH neutral snow foam, as opposed to a Alkaline one, yes it is wax friendly.

Short answer is better with a pressure washer, Autobrite or Cleanyourcar sites both got the lances on offer, both will do you the foam. From what I can see the lances are much the same, but different people prefer different foam - I bought Ph neutral to get started, intend to give the magifoam a go next time.
