    Question Hello & \Help (please)

    Hi folks, newbie to this type of gthing and looking for some expert advice.

    I've gotta 2006 1.9 Diesel SRi which I think is a great car, but starting to get some mionor ploblems and I hope you can advise.....

    1. the gear lever Knob keeps coming off in my hand
    2. I need to replace a nearside low beam bulb

    looking forward to some chat about these wee problems...

    For the bulb lift the battery cover and take off the washer funnel and unscrew the headlight cover mate think you will need a new gearstick mate check eBay p

    Gear knob, get a new one, or take the old one off and fill with polymorph, then drill and refit

    a blob of super glue works as well as any thing on the gear knob, i have just replaced both my dipped beam bulbs, only had to remove the washer fluid neck which pulls straight out

    Hi mate, my knob keeps gear knob kept coming off to and i agree with what has already been said, glue the thing on ! You will find bulb replacement gets easier the more times you do it !

    yup i have also had the glue on the knob. that was about 2years back, its still stuck on

    Hiya Brian to the forum. On the headlight, I managed to do the bulbs by just lifting the battery cover and leaving the filler neck in place, so if you are handy it can be done.

    as for the Gearknob depending on what or how much is left there is this option mate

    Wrap top of stick with P.T.F.E. tape (plumbers tape) then a good hard dunt with a rubber hammer, sorted !
