    Default exhaust mod niggles

Did the twin exit exhaust mod on my vec cdti 150.

got the irmy y piece and exaust all fitted.

got new rubber exhaust hangers from the stealers (just incase oldies broke)

and after fiddling for hours it still looks wrong.

both pipes are out the same distance from the apron.

are both the same distance from either leading edge of the apron but the new exhaust is hanging about half and inch lower than the original on the left.

    any advice, tips or pointers?

    Dave

is the Y piece now fixed into final resting place...could be that it just needs a little twisting from there .

Mine needed a little twisting, plus make sure Ur rubbers for both back boxes are identical some can stretch more than others over time. Turned out with mine I just needed to twist on slightly and change a rubber

lads, i know this may sound stupid, but i cant believe i never thought of that how silly am i?

ill give that a whirl tom and what will happin is one of the tail pipes might have a slight slanted appearance on it when i realign the y piece so i then can twist the box ever so slightly......

    thanks again for the advice.
