Default DTUK-Am I right in thinking.........

Am I right in thinking that when running a tuning box (DTUK ECO 3) that the damage to certain components, ie. DMF, fuel pump etc, is only going to happen if I hammer it all the time??

Everytime you nail it around you are wearing out those components faster. With the DTUK box on you get even more power so even more wear! Simples!

Not if its a facelift you don't unless it was spec'd at the factory. Aparently the chassis was designed so well it didn't need it. yeah right!

No matter what the mod is - if it increases power output from the engine it is going to stress the engine, DMF, Clutch, gearbox and driveshafts.
