The dealer I bought my first Vectra 'C' from told me that I could crash it into a wall and walk away from it. Never took him up on it.LOL But it certainly seems safer than any car I had previously driven.

i don't think any car is considered "safe" for running a pedestrian over, i mean lets face it, a ton of metal hitting an 60-100kg person, there isn't any contest....

that was one of the reasons i got it, you always got the sence in a corsa b that it was made of tin foil lol, the veccy seems much more solid. and as for the pedestrian bit i had a guy really **** me off a couple months ago and i threatened to run hm over in my vectra which he didnt seem overly bothered about till i informed him it weighed over 1.5ton and was one of the worse cars to get hit by. i think the fact i had done my reasearch into it was what scared him lol even though i wasnt actually gonan do it it was funny to see him worry

watching that vid shows you just how the car sends the force round the ocupants, look at the roof for example, and the side impacts look good aswell, makes me feel alot safe thats for sure i wonder how the corsa would have looked, i dread to think
