Default Front wheel bearing sensor problem

I got fitted a new front wheel bearing, the first one that was fitted the ABS warning light wouldn,t turn off so I got a new one thinking the first one was faulty ?I got good advice from a second mechanic saying the light should go out when a new one is fitted. The second one the ABS light went off at first then after driving around a bit the warning lights came on,does anybody know what's going on.cheers

I recently fitted a new hub - damaged the ABS/TC wires when I was changing the brakes so had the warning lights on permanently.

New hub and they went off straight away. There's two types of hub for the Vectra, one with IDS and one without - did you get the right one?

I did get the right one because they have two different types of connections, one with a rectangle shape 3 pins i think and the other (mine)has the oval shape 2 pins,if I had the wrong one it wouldn,t connect at all.cheers

Ah, I didn't know they had different connections.

Have you had the car tech2'd to see if there is a description of the fault?
