    Default Sidelight Wiring Pin

I'm fitting DRL's and am wiring them into the sidelights.

Question is does anyone know which pin of the headlamp wiring plug is actually for the sidelights?

When I power the sidelights up only, my multi meter actually shows voltage to two of the pins, but I was expeciting to see voltage to only one so I'm confused. One pin shows 14v and the other 24v.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Surely drl's want wiring to ignition live? Otherwise they'll just be extra sidelights ..

How do you have 24v in a 12v car? I don't think the voltage is stepped up anywhere? Are you sure it is not 2.4V?

Maybe - I'm not too good with electrics, but if the 24v is actaully 2.4v then the 14v on the other pin would be 1.4v.

I'm fitting the Philips 5 LED DRL's - these need wiring into the sidelight so they auto swith off when the sidelights are switched on. The other cables are connected directly to the pos and neg terminals of the battery.
