    Default hello all

    Hey everyone

Thought i'd introduce myself, i do not own a Vectra C yet, however i am looking for one, and found a few nice ctdi's . Currently i have a 2004 Mazda RX8 190, but need something abit more sensible due to just having a baby and wanting too move out, and fancied a change from the Jap scene. I narrowed it down two cars, the Vectra C Cdti (would like an sri cdti but have to see how it goes) and a Volkswagen Bora, but i think that the Vectra is a far better looking car, especially with a few irmscher goodies .

Hope im still welcome even though i dont own a Vauxhall as of now, and hope i can be a useful member too the forum

Welcome along Luke, I am on my first Vectra as well, a rather modest 1.8i Exclusive but I love it, it has such a solid feel on the road. Certainly glad I made the move from Ford

Welcome mate, i am a new owner to my cdti 150 sri vec c and i love it! I came from a 290 bhp astra coupe turbo and i do not regret it one bit, without my remap i am driving sensibly and getting 48mpg and i do not hold back, its still a torquey machine, good luck with buying new car

You will not be disappointed with a 2-litre Turbo petrol Vectra. 173bhp and way more torque than you had with the Mazda.

My wife had a MkIV Golf and FWIW the Vectra is far superior with less stupid problems such as steering rack, ARB bushes and alternator failures, the Vectra has a few issues itself but in general these are simpler and more straightforward to fix.
Vectra has more space inside too and has more of a decent following, I mean just look around at this lot,,,,, aren't they braw here!!!!!
