    Default Radio Removal

    Errr, how? I have a CCR2006 and I cannot for the life of my get it out. I have a pair of removal keys but it wont budge.

    Am I missing a trick? lol

    Can be a fiddle, make sure the removal keys are pushed in properly. Some people use a wire coathanger bent into shape too. Just be gentle with it, the keys should push in quite far and then you pull them outwards (to the sides) and it should grip onto the radio and pull it out.

    Have you checked for the 3mm allen key bolts that need to an removed first?

    yeah those screws have been removed (4 of them)

    I have to use quite alot of force when pushing the keys away from each other and pulling out.

    Yeah tried that as well. the keys look a little worn so it could be that as well.
