Reasonably certain at least one of mine is ka-puut but is there any harm in not changing it (them?) ASAP?
Will it cause extra clogging or are they just to aid the cold starts?

only to aid cold starts... try turning the key a couple of times to bring the plugs on for longer in the morning, if you don't have the time to change them at the mo...
I usually turn ignition on, then get comfy, stereo on, seatbelt on, pick my nose then scratch my bum then start car - do the plugs stay warming when ignition is on? Or is it as you say, on and off a few times?
on & off matey... if you do it 2 or 3 times it stops the spenner just after starting, providing it's only a plug or 2 out.
it will become less of a problem as the weather warms up, i have just replaced all my plugs purely because i was doing the timing belt/water pump etc as part of a full service
Hi, I have just joined the forum and could use a little help. Have just been told I need to get new glow plugs, could you tell me where is cheapest place to get them and is it a big job fitting them? I'm quite handy with a spanner so don't mind having a go. Have just spent a small fortune on the car (EGR,swirl valves, intake manifold, springs, battery) so need to save some money!! Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.
Have a look in the guides section.
As above matey, look in the how to section & the plugs are £10 each at a dealer or motor factor
