Belt replacement advice needed 1.9cdti 150

the drain plug should have holes in it at the end, the idea being once you have unscrewed it a little the holes let the oil out in a controlled manner then when the flow has slowed down you take it all the way out, much better than just unscrewing it and moving quickly which usually ends up in me covered in nice hot oil lol

have brought the 6 sided socket today and a set or mole grips as back up, hope the nut is not too rounded for the six sided to work! brought a 13mm but ive heard a 1/2 inch is a better fit?

a 1/2 is a little smaller so if you can get it on then that might be a better bet
