    Tappetpaul Changed My Screen Today..Could`nt Find The Wiring Plug That Sposed To Be Taped Up Beside The Water Bottle..Do/Should All Vec`s Have It ?

    Mine does, its taped up on to the pump wire.

    If you find the wiring going towards the lights branching off that 'might' be a wire like mine. I'm pretty sure it's connected to the bottle. But can't see. If you jack up the wheel, take wheel off and remove arch liner you'll be able to better, read some where some don't even have the wires ready to plug sensor in. Hope that makes sense.

    Did you get yours tech2ed or op-com yet?

    Or on reading dasarabs comment it might be pump wire I can see. Will have closer look the morn and have a look for ya.

    Not all Vectra's have the connector,
    but as described above, the sensor plug if it is fitted, will be taped up near to the washer bottle (close to the pump wire).

    If not, you could always wire your own in..

    Unscrew the Engine bay fuse box,
    Underneath this, you should see three big connectors..
    You want the second connector - pin 14.

    Run a wire from here, to your sensor plug (from a scrapper etc..) and then a second wire from the connector, to the chassis / earth.

    or if you don't want a sensor... but just want to kill the warning message, then simply put a wire from Plug 2, pin 14 - and run this direct to earth.
