    Default Failed mot on emissions

i bought a subaru 2000turbo to sell on i got it fairly cheap. it been stood for 4-5 months mind., took it for a mot today and it failed on emissions, just wondering if any one knows how to get it to pass without buying a new cat.

problem is i had it book in today but advertised it on ebay thinking it will sell at the last minute. how wrong was i !

it has a sports cat on it a ninja to be excact, 100 cell.

is there any tips to get it down, things to buy etc ?

not sure when the buyer is collecting it yet as he has to come from london. but sending ito bulgueria.....

you will need to run it for a bit as there is maybe fuel in the exhaust and its causing an increased emissions.

redex, millars additive something then run it fo a while , take it the long wae to the MOT station if you can.

    Are you serious?

Thats the oldest scam in the book.

Apart from that get the cat as hot as possible and take out the air filter. The hotter the cat the better so drive there at high revs (Lower gear).
