    Default Buzzing noise from speakers

    Hello

My wife bought me a 2nd hand head unit off here, looks like en Eonon D5103 CD/DVD/Navi.

When I first installed it there was a buzzing noise coming from every speaker when any form of audio was outputted, then it went. Now 3 months later its come back again. How can I try to get rid of this problem, I think someone on the forum has the same in there Vec SRI but not to sure who?

This is the one I bought

If they only make a buzzing noise when engine running you could be getting feed back from your alternater, i cant remember what there called but you can buy an item that goes on your power feed before the radio, someone else may know what there called or if it this.

If the buzz only when engine running then my suggestion is to check your battery and alternator first, then check if the unit works fine in another car.

Anyone got any ideas on the above method. I fitted an 8awg ground wire bypassing the loom ground and it still has interference, also now noticed when on reversing camera there is diagonal lines on the screen which get closer together of you rev the engine.

Sounds like ignition interference. As someone said, you can get an inline suppressor that fits on the power feed - not heard of this on a 2000+ Vx though, had it on my old 1979 models.
