LED side bulbs

Hi chaps,

after having issues with the cheap LED side bulbs, I went for Canbus setas they apparently dont cause the warning message.

After fitting both of them, the car displayed the message, though only for the left side
So I thought it might be the LED bulb and swapped them over.
Still both working perfectly fine, but again - left hand side error message.

Any ideas how that is possible?

Or is there any other option to get them white without using LED's?

Oh and I just read that I shouldnt use the once I am using anyway as the heat from the headlight will get it melted ..... whats ur experience with that?

Hard wire a second set off side light holders. See my profile.

Hi mate, I had the same issuse with the one side not lighting, dno what its caused by, but simple fix. Buy some load resistors, you can get from HIDs direct ebay store, this fixed my problem.. although, you will still get the strobe effect when the lights are off, I have my side lights on at all times to counter this. Any questions, HTH

EDIT: I also had "canbus error free bulbs" thats the ones that only one side worked, had also bog standard leds too, done the same thing.. marketing!
