Default 1.9 150bhp wont start after water pump and cam belt fail

This is actually on a 2006 Saab 93 with the same engine, had some advice before and all been helpful so thanks in advance.

Had issue recently where car suddenly in limp mode, RAC suggested it was dual mass fly and followed me to garage.

We noticed the swirl bar is off so may be part of issue but think its been like that for a while.

Turned out to be the pump failed and belt was all loose, knocked timing out set off cam sensor and hence limp mode.

Garagae has doen that and timed car using the 'special tool' which they had to get in special £100 (not to me but wonder if thats right).

Now car wont start! Any suggestions? Can the swirl flaps issue cause a no start?

Theres fuel up to the engine by the way.

    Thanks
    Rich

I take it they removed the cam cover to check for broken rockers incase there was piston to valve contact?

if not then chances are the low spped shudder as the engine shut down caused damage as said above

they are looking at a fuel issue now, high pressure fuel pump although the car drove to the garage okay.

Are these common issue? The car was difficult to start, had to turn over twice to get it to fire. But it go there okay, they say its got fuel to the pump but need to check it now to see if thats the issue.

    Anything similar to suggest?

Over a year ago my water pump failed which then slipped the timing belt and there was damage done to the rockers and valves. The car wouldn't start and was towed to VX to get fixed and cost around £800 or so.
