Default Electric leather into an '04 SRi

Just agreed a deal on a complete black leather GSi interior, the front seats are electric and apparently all are heated,

Should it be possible to have all of the electrics working in my car? I.E the electric adjustment of the front seats and the heated parts?

I read that I need to check behind the blanking plates on the dash to see if I have the loom for the heated part, what other looms/connections do I need to look for?

The heated seats should work ok, however if the seats are fully electric ie can be moved electrically then you won't be able to use them afaik as the car needs to come with a load of other stuff.

As long as they aren't memory seats you can retro fit them. You'll need to take a separate live and earth to them though

How can I tell if they're memory seats or not?

Memory ones have 4 buttons in a row at the right hand side of the driver's seat

Can anyone confirm whether or not these seats will work in my car?

Memory seats themselves can be enabled. Just one extra wire (other than the motors wires) to connect to the low speed CAN, then you can use the settings on the seats and it'll remember it on the keyfob. Someone with good knowledge will have to program it in for you though. Only things which wont work will be the autodipping left hand mirror when reverse engage, auto-positioning of the interior mirror and auto adjustment of the mirrors (i think)

I can live with that, A good friend of mine works at the local VX dealer as service manager, so could he do the programming?
I basically just didn't want to buy the seats then discover I couldn't power them up to adjust them
