Know how you feel. Had my eibachs delivered yesterday. I was hoping they would come whilst the mrs was at work.
No such luck. Just as she turned up, so did the delivery.
Had to explain that the old suspension is wearing out after 100k miles.
Dont think she believed me.
Just need to order some b4 s know. might have to drive to LMF to pick them up, so not to get caught again.
just order them and if you need a broken spring to show the wife i'll send you one as i found one when my eibach's were fitted at the weekend ll
So basically, you are hoping something is going to fail on your car?,....hmmmm, yes you are sick.....
Yes But Thats Sick In A Good Way
Ha ha ha pmsl....My mot due in may and I have been thinking exactly the same thing...if the garage says theres a couple hundreds worth of stuff needs doing to suspension and I say, well, i might as well do it myself and get a new set up for about 350 quid! Its the only way its gonna happen, no way the mrs will let me spend that much on car otherwise.(not totally under thumb but second child due in may. Ok i am totally under thumb!)
after my bad thoughts ,i've just been to pick up the car and .................it passed. 2 advisorys x2 rear tyres near legal limit.£42 was a fine result and not a mention of the 6000k hids i've just fitted, this now means i legitamately require 2 tyres
And....a set of eibachs for the hell of it
i'm saving for a remap at the moment but the springs will be next "under the radar" buy after that. tyres are now top of he list won't be getting another pair of falken 912's as they were appaling in the snow, may try khumo's and put them on the front see if they are any better unless any other ideas are forthcoming (around £80 each)
I had a leaking shocker picked up in service but it passed the mot when car was coming upto 3yrs.
