    Default Centre Display Lights

    Hey have just ordered the smd's i need for my Vectra to convert the radio, heater controls and EW switches, but can anyone tell me what i need to order to change the clock/temp/radio display and light in the rearview mirror (BTW how do I get into it) too???

    I used these http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/pro...03&sku=1648560 for my GID. I think there's about 35/40 on the pcb. not sure about the mirror as i don't have one

    If its the small 3 line display its just 3, 2 watt T5 bulbs (I think there T5 anyway, just smaller)

    you cant change mate what I put some red film between lights and front screen. what colour you going for? I've probably got some spare red film if its any good to you. this gives you an idea of what it looks like pal.

    because of the amber light think you can only go red or green from what others have said, blue might work not sure.

    only takes about 15mins to do, give me a shout if you need a how2

    I ended up placing white paper where the orange diffuser was, takes the orange tinge off.

    Hey Ben, i tried the Blue film, looks well but it pretty much makes the display invisible at night unless i turn the dash lighting up to maximum, how did you get round this?

    I've done mine with blue LED T5 bulbs, were like 50p per bulb, then went surgical on a notepad from tesco, that had an opaque blue plastic cover, and used 3 layers of that to diffuse the blue light, looks good
