Default Removing air pipe (?) to get at driver side headlight

    Hi there

I have recently bought some Xenon headlight's and I have managed to change them all apart from ONE which is being a right pain in the arse, mainly because of the air pipe/tube that is totally in the way.

I need to know how to removie this tube/pipe and is it safe to? Once that is out the way, it will be a doddle, because the passenger side was.

Alslo, while I am here, the reason why I chanegd my bulbs is because one had died on me and my display was telling me I needed to replace it. I have replaced the light that has died on me, yet the display is still saying I need to replace it. Any idea?

Sorry for sounding like a complete novice, but that is what I am,. but any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I think it is because vectras only accept certain types of bulb!!
Otherwise they come up with warnings.

Why not remove the bumper instead of faffing about with the airbox.

Takes no longer, and less damage caused to hands by the limited access.

As long as the bumpers been off before then theres no problem .....but I have been on many hid fits and parking sensor fits to know what APITA it is if you can't get the torx screws out that are holding it in place via the wheel arches.

hmmm...so, it's not much easier than taking the air box out then. This is a joke, I only want to change a bulb!

yep kinda sucks lol ............air box is probibly easier if the bumpers have never been removed .....you could always just ck the torx screws first and if they arnt budging then Airbox route it is then .

I found the airboox method easy, but I have fairly small hands. Other side jusy lift battery and fuse box cover out of way and take windscreen wash filler tube off, all in How To's.
