    Default 1st timer

Alright guys, I am a bit of a novice at this - never had a car I really wanted 2 keep before so am looking for a few pointers. Just wondering about the clay, is there a better brand to use? also I take it you only really need to use it over ruff areas of paint rather than the whole car?

Any suggestions on what products or wax I should be using? My car is a facelift grey colour - magical grey I think they called it not 100% tho.

Any advice will be much appreciated

Everyone is talking about this at the moment, it is used with water and its half the price of other products on the market and just as good. It would be worth doing the whole car, or you may not get an even finish.

As for wax, there is a lot on the market, so ill let someone else advise as different products work better on different colours.

I'd deffinately do the whole car..its surprising how much dirt and contaminents it'll actually lift..
If your gonna make a proper job of it though.. I'd get some de tar stuff (Auto Glym intensive tar remover) again you'd be surprised how much actually gets on there...
then start with a good polish and wax afterwards... and take your time ;-)
