    Default MyGSI

At last my Vectra is looking good and performing well! It now has Bilstein B6 dampers and the Eibach springs.

The Scorpion exhaust seemed popular so i fitted one:

Just need some upper rear links, and the strut brace.

I also fitted EBC rotors and yellow stuff pads, and ss braided hoses.

I fitted the Falken F452's at £105 each no rain so far!

I'm thinking of one for my gsi, but would love to hear one first.

cheers, the ride is firmer than the std gsi, but it is by no means harsh, in fact my wife din't even notice!!! I swapped tyres at the same time going from 225/45 17's to the 235/35 19's so the difference is masked. The B6's were very similar to the sachs std ones when i did a simple compression and release test. The front has barely lowered, i will give them a 1000 miles and check properly.

The Scorpion is more refined than i expected, even a tad dissapointing in my tunnel run, my previous V6 had a Sportex race tube and single back box that was distinctive!! I will get the sounds sorted this week. (hopefully with a full power run on the dyno)

Car looks excellent mate, you must be chuffed.

Can I just ask, why do you want a strut brace? FWD cars really don't need them as all they do is increase under steer. You'd really want a Rear ARB to minimise the already classic Vectra under steer. Unfortunately as far as I know, no larger rear ARB is made for the GSi.

    Looks great

Your exhaust will get better as it 'carbons up' internally, they all do
