    Thumbs up MOT

    Got the vec through MOT this morn after puttin two new tyres on(wich i knew i needed) on the downside though they said it wont pass next year because of the brake pipes?????? how can they say that? i would love to borrow their crystal ball lol. also i know theyre not bad as i cleand and greesed them yesterday. may do them in the summer though is it hard? or is it not that expensive at the garage?

    probably just means that they are correded and will get worse over the next year
    the mot tester will then feel that they have reached an unsafe level of corrosion and fail it

    What pipes are "knackered" mate? Is it just the fronts or front to back pipes? Front to back (especially the nearside rear) can be a complete pain but the fronts are easy enough if you know what your doing

    theyve put front to backs and offside rear slightly corroded as an advisory. they really dont look so bad to me but they said it night not pass next year. pretty confident id be able to do it with a few new tools to ad to mi collection.
