If there is a card in the old box, use that (they should send you a new card with the new box)

Probably only work if you have multiple LMBs on the dish....??

I think sky charge 25 quid for a freesat card, but as you're an exhisting subscriber if you ask 'em nicely you might get it free .. I personally wouldnt pay Sky for a freesat card to use in old Sky box, I'd rather pay a little more and buy a new FREESAT box .. They're smaller and neater boxes, and provide a better EPG in my opinion..

You need a Freesat from sky viewing card m8,ring Sky and they will put you through to the correct dept,i think they are about £15 ,but also you have to pay a subscription to Sky for the EPG ,if not then you loose a few channels. imo you are better off purchasing a proper Freesat box,i have the Humax Fox sat recorder 320 gb which is an excellent piece of kit but these are in the region of £220,you can get a bush one for about £150..Here's a few Examples

Bear in mind if you want to record up to 2 channels whilst watching another, you need twin cables,so if you have Sky plus aswell you will need a quad LNB if you don't already have one..HTH.
