    Default steering wheel wobble

got 2 new front tyres fitted 2 weeks ago, i had never had the car upto speed for a week , once upto speed doing 65mph plus ive been getting realy bad vibration through my steering wheel,

so i thought the original garage had not balanced the wheels correctly, so i took it to Kwick Fit, they balanced the wheels (the bloke said 19" wheels are hard to balance) any way job done so i thought

im still getting steering wheel wobble , although not as bad at 65mph + any ideas folks its driving me mad

especially quick fit and you need decent kit really to get 19's balanced well if the machine is a bit shoddy it will show up worse with 19's

The problem is, you let kwik fit balance your rims! They cant balance anything for toffee! Even my local garage in buxton balanced my 19s spot on!

have a drive and ring round, if you cant get any recommendations try somewhere where they seem to have nice/new equipment in the workshop and seem to be knowledgeable or a decent alloy wheel specialist who are used to balancing large wheels

Trouble is a lot of garages are lazy, rather than remove the old weights, they just keep adding new ones, took my mrs old fiesta to kwik fit they couldn't balanace it for love nor money, only 14 inch wheels, they just kept throwing more weights at them, the wheel must of weighed twice as much by the time they had finised, you could see them all, hardly any room to squeeze anymore on, so i took them all off and told them to try again.
